Traminette
Characterized by floral aromas as well as faint aromas of lychee come through, characteristic of its parent Gewurtztraminer.
Summer Splash
Iris Scott has painted yet another dog that represents cooling off in the summer. Classic citrus attributes of a Riesling, slightly sweet on the front and finishes a little dry. I kept it at about 1-1/12 percent sweetness as I believe that is a sweetness that appeals to most wine drinkers. In Germany, this could be referred to as a “Halbtroken.
Pairings: Spicy dishes, shellfish, Asian dishes, smoked meats, and pork would all pair well with Summer Splash.
